Job summary

The Wildwood Hotel in Wildwood, MO is looking for a Houseperson to join the housekeeping team. You will clean and maintain public areas and assist with room-side tasks.

Prior hotel or heavy cleaning experience is helpful but not required; we will teach you what you need to know to exceed standards for guest happiness. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Making sure linens and supplies are stocked and getting them to housekeepers
• Assist housekeepers with linens and trash
• Flip mattresses and move furniture
• Vacuum & clean public areas of the property
• Floor care
• Other job duties as assigned

We're hiring a houseperson to join the public-facing side of our housekeeping team, cleaning and maintaining common areas as well as performing heavier tasks on the rooms side. Previous hotel and/or cleaning experience is helpful but not required -- as long as you're the right person, we'll teach you everything you need to know to exceed standards for work quality and guest happiness. To be successful, you will be a reliable, enthusiastic multitasker who can work independently as well as get along with your team and help out where needed. You will demonstrate and promote 100% dedication to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees through excellent guest service and outperforming cleanliness standards.
