Job summary

Staypineapple is seeking a Houseperson for a temporary role to keep guest rooms and public areas spotless according to Staypineapple standards in a fast-paced environment.

This fixed-term position runs through October 31, 2026, and offers opportunities to contribute to a collaborative housekeeping team. Duties include cleaning, restocking and ensuring spaces are tidy and guest-ready at all times.

Qualifications

• One month of related experience preferred.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative and diverse team dynamic.
• Proficient at fulfilling requests in a thorough and timely manner.
• Ability to learn quickly and take direction.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning public areas and assigned rooms within allotted time according to hotel standards including changing beds, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and guest supplies, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping.
• Ensuring that corridors are free of all debris, room service trays, etc.
• Ensuring that housekeepers receive all requested items to complete cleaning their assigned rooms.
• Preventing loss and damage to hotel supplies, property and the guests’ property by ensuring that guest rooms and carts are secure.
