Job summary

Royal Palms Resort in Myrtle Beach is seeking a full-time housekeeper to maintain guest rooms, public areas and conference spaces, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.

You will perform cleaning tasks, report maintenance issues, and greet guests with a friendly smile. Open schedule includes holidays and weekends; benefits include PTO, health plans, 401(k) matching, life insurance, and more.

This is a year-round, first-shift position at the Royal Palms Resort.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in hospitality or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Room Attendants in guest rooms, restrooms, public areas, and conference rooms.
• Polish furniture and fixtures, vacuum, mop, wash windows, and clean/wax floors; remove and dispose of trash.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
• Greet all guests in a polite and welcoming manner.

Description

Responsibilities

• Assist the Room Attendants in areas including, but not limited to, guest rooms, restrooms, public areas, and conference rooms.
• Perform tasks including, but not limited to, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, and removing and disposing of trash.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as needed.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
• Greet all guests in a polite and welcoming manner.

Compensation: $16.00/hour

This is afull-time, year-roundposition working at the Royal PalmsResort. This position is for 1st shift. Open schedule is required, including holidays and weekends.
