Job summary

Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, FL, is seeking a diligent room attendant to maintain a clean, welcoming guest environment. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, corridors and public areas, restocking amenities, and assisting guests with directions and inquiries.

The role supports housekeeping operations, including safety instructions and collaborating with the team to ensure hotel standards are met. Experience in hotels is preferred; benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers and elevators, including vacuuming, dusting, polishing.
• Empty room-attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on doors, and elevator doors.
• Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Turn mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Respond to guest questions and provide directions and information.
• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in emergencies.
• Support the department to maintain building and guest service.
• Assist shampooers with relocation of furniture.
• Report suspicious persons or activities to Safety/Security.
• Must be ready to step in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Performs special assignments and projects as requested.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.

• Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.

• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
• Support the department in any area that will maintain the building and guest service to hotel standards.
• Assist shampooers with the relocation of furniture.
• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Safety/Security department.
• Must be ready to step in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Performs special assignments and projects as requested.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
