Job summary

EOS Hospitality is seeking a dedicated housekeeper for Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon, Florida. This role includes maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, hallways, and elevators, while assisting guests with inquiries and supporting the department to meet hotel standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel housekeeping, helping create a welcoming and pristine environment for guests while enjoying benefits such as medical and dental insurance, along with discounts at sister properties.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers, and elevators.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Turn mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Respond to guest questions and provide guest assistance.
• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in emergencies.
• Support the department in maintaining the building and guest service.
• Assist shampooers with relocating furniture.
• Report suspicious persons or activities to Safety/Security.
• Support coworkers and team as needed for efficient operation.
• Perform special assignments and projects as requested.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers and elevators which includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, straightening furniture and décor, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces and waste removal.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
• Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors, and elevator doors.
• Obtain amenities and supplies for room attendants.
• Turn mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Respond to guest questions and provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested.
• Provide instruction/guidance for guest and employee safety in fire or other emergency situations.
• Support the department in any area that will maintain the building and guest service to hotel standards.
• Assist shampooers with the relocation of furniture.
• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Safety/Security department.
• Must be ready to step in and support coworkers and team as needed to ensure efficient operation.
• Performs special assignments and projects as requested.
• Attend meetings/training as required by management.
