Job summary

Kompose Hotel in Houston is seeking a Houseman to support housekeeping operations, maintain public spaces, and ensure guests enjoy a clean and well-stocked environment.

You will deliver linens and supplies, assist with room turns, clean lobbies and hallways, and respond to guest requests. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality support preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Delivering linens, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping staff.
• Removing trash and used linens from guest floors and service areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining public spaces including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and fitness areas.
• Assisting with room turns, deep cleaning projects, and furniture setups.
• Responding to guest requests and supporting room attendants as needed.
• Ensuring storage closets and carts are stocked, organized, and secure.
• Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
