The Madrona, part of Palisades Hospitality Group, is seeking a Houseperson in Healdsburg to keep guest areas spotless and welcoming. Experience preferred; training available for the right candidate. Join our dynamic team as a Houseperson to join our hotel housekeeping team! Experience is preferred but we're willing to train the right candidate. A flexible schedule and weekend, holiday and AM & PM shift availability is required.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A HOUSEPERSON

The Houseperson is responsible for creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere for guests by making sure all areas of the hotel are clean. Responsibilities include maintaining the common areas of the hotel such as the lobby, hallways and activity areas like the pool, spa, fitness center and laundry rooms. This position supports and assists housekeeping team members in their daily duties including turndown.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Guest and customer service focused
• Friendly and welcoming demeanor when dealing with guests and/or co-workers
• Excellent attendance
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques
• Awareness of safety precautions for working with cleaning agents
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in hotel housekeeping
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
