Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group seeks a motivated Houseperson for the Tru by Hilton Columbia-Graystone in Columbia, SC. You will help maintain lobby and public areas, ensuring a welcoming, spotless first impression for guests.

Responsibilities include stripping rooms, stocking carts, delivering linens, and assisting with cleaning under supervision. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping or related field preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication with guests and colleagues.
• Physical stamina for extended cleaning tasks.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping guest rooms by removing used linens, towels, and amenities in preparation for cleaning.
• Stock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
• Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping closets and storage areas.
• Assist with cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas as directed.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, clean stairways, and dust furniture and fixtures in public areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Replenish supplies in public areas, such as towels and toiletries.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and maintenance-related tasks as assigned.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean environment.
• Report maintenance issues or damage through hotel operations software.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Need:

• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
