Job summary

Parks Hospitality Group Inc is seeking a dedicated Houseperson for Tru by Hilton Wilmington Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington, NC. You will prepare and maintain lobby, hallways, and public areas, ensuring a polished, welcoming environment for arriving guests.

You'll stock carts, assist with cleaning tasks, and follow safety guidelines, with opportunities for growth and incentives through the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication with guests and colleagues.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping guest rooms by removing used linens, towels, and amenities in preparation for cleaning.
• Stock housekeeping carts with clean linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
• Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping closets and storage areas.
• Assist with cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas as directed by supervisors.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, clean stairways, and dust furniture and fixtures in public areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Replenish supplies in public areas, such as towels and toiletries.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and maintenance-related tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; report maintenance issues through operations software.

In this active, guest-focused role, you will be the ultimate guardian of our public spaces - prepping our lobby, hallways, and common areas so they are polished, welcoming, and ready for arriving guests. From maintaining pristine entryways to ensuring our shared spaces look immaculate, your hard work will set the stage for an exceptional stay. What You’ll Do:

• Assist with stripping guest rooms by removing used linens, towels, and amenities in preparation for cleaning.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and colleagues.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
