Embassy Suites Cleveland Rockside is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to clean and maintain corridors, vending areas, elevators, and guest room floors, ensuring hotel cleanliness standards. You will provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets, delivering and retrieving items for guests and the Floor Supervisor.

The role requires adherence to safety and security rules, flexibility for shifts, and cooperation with other housekeeping staff.

• The hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week may vary.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

• Provide linen supplies for Room Attendants and stock floor closets.
• Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and Floor Supervisor.
• Review assigned areas and complete general removal of any trash or debris on floors.
• Stock linen carts with clean linen and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove trash, wipe shelves and counters; sweep and remove non-floor closet items, and transport them to proper storage areas.
• Remove dirty linen from the Room Attendants' carts and closets and place it in the laundry chute.
• Remove dirty glasses from the Room Attendants' carts and closets; transport to dish room glass washer; return clean and capped glasses to floor closets.

Review assigned areas and complete general removal of any trash or debris on floors.

• Check assigned floor closets and complete linen requisition to replenish linen supplies.
• Stock linen carts with clean linen and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets; remove the trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and remove non-floor closet items, and transport them to proper storage areas.
• Remove all dirty linen from the assigned Room Attendant's carts and closets and place it in the laundry chute.
• Remove all dirty glasses from assigned Room Attendants' carts and closets. Transport to dish room glass washer and wash glasses. Return clean and capped glasses to floor closets in racks.
• Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipment
• Wipe down all surfaces of vending machines, ice machines, and laundry machines/counters/shelves.
• Ensure that nothing is stored in stairwells.
• Remove stains, scuff marks, and dust from carpets.
• Provide timely delivery of any items requested by guests. Retrieve items from guest rooms and return to proper storage areas.
• Transport guest laundry and dry cleaning to the correct guest rooms.
• Turns in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Utilizes protective equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Reports accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage, or loss to management.
• Provides a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. (Specific standards outlined in team member handbook).
• Perform any related duties as requested by the supervisor/manager.
• Assists other Housekeeping Personnel when need.
