Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Houseperson to promptly respond to guest and department requests and to identify maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. The role involves maintaining guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a clean and orderly state.

Responsibilities include receiving linen from floor shoots, restocking linen, and walking floors to collect trash, newspapers, and soiled linen, while delivering requested items to guests.

• Walk assigned floors to collect newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
• Deliver requested items to guests.

Job description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts and remove trash from hallways and carts.
• Respond to guest calls and deliver requested items.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
