Job Title: Housekeeper

The Role:

The housekeeper is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests and maintaining the cleanliness of hotel rooms and public areas according to standards.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas and guest rooms.
• Handle linen carts weighing 50-70 pounds, including pushing, pulling, and turning.
• Remove linens, towels, and trash from rooms.
• Move furniture as necessary.
• Load linen carts, reaching up to 6 feet and lifting approximately 7 pounds per linen bundle.
• Walk extensively within the hotel premises.
• Provide superior customer service, handle difficult customers professionally, and work harmoniously with colleagues.
• Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and maintained.
• Follow departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional housekeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1-year related experience or training in a casino environment.
• Possession of and ability to maintain applicable regional gaming licenses.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform related physical tasks.
