The Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a dedicated individual for a housekeeping position in Boston. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas of the clinic, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a team. This role offers compensation ranging from $22.25 to $35.60 per hour, along with various benefits.
Since 1985, BHCHP’s mission has been to ensure unconditionally equitable and dignified access to the highest quality health care for all individuals and families experiencing homelessness in greater Boston. We care for over 10,000 homeless individuals each year across more than 30 locations. Our clinicians, case managers, and behavioral health professionals work to provide comprehensive health care, from preventative dental care to cancer treatment. This position requires the ability to work independently within a team environment. The employee must be able to assess the building’s needs regarding cleanup or maintenance and report these needs to the supervisor. Must be able to take direction well and be flexible in meeting the changing housekeeping and maintenance needs of the building.
