Accor, at Fairmont Kea Lani in Maui, Hawaii, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to service villas and public areas with aloha spirit. You will follow Fairmont standards, manage linen and supplies, and collaborate with In Room Dining for tray removals.

The role offers an hourly wage of 29.37 and requires flexibility for varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred; strong teamwork and guest-focused service are essential to deliver exceptional

Responsabilidades

• Clean villas according to Fairmont standards, including dusting, organizing belongings, turndown, linen handling, vacuuming and replenishment.
• Report status of mattresses, blankets, bedspreads, and valances needing change.
• Coordinate with In Room Dining for removal of trays and trolleys.
• Regularly update and report villa status (clean, do not require service, Privacy Please).
• Take accurate room status reports at end of shift.
• Maintain proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Deliver aloha spirit with engaging, timely, and efficient guest service.
• Maintain focus on guest needs while staying calm and courteous.

Job Description

Responsible for providing service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to Housekeeping.

Hourly Rate: 29.37

• Cleaning guest villas according to Fairmont standards including, but not limited to: dusting, neatly arranging guest belongings, turndown beds, removing soiled linen, retrieving clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming and amenity replenishment
• Report any mattress protectors, blankets, bedspreads, and valances in need of change
• Call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys
• Regularly update, record and/or report villa status: clean, do not require service, Privacy Please, etc.
• Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
• Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
• Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Schedule

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include

• Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions, operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment as needed

Your working environment

• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
• Must be able to push and pull 100lbs.
