Job summary

Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Hawai‘i, seeks a warm, guest‑focused Housekeeping team member to uphold the renowned aloha service. You will clean guest villas to Fairmont standards, handle turndown and linen replenishment, and report villa status at shift end with a courteous, proactive approach to guest needs.

This role offers hourly pay and opportunities for growth within the property and across the Accor network, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

  • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean guest villas according to Fairmont standards (dusting, arranging belongings, turndown beds, linen handling).
  • Report mattress protectors and linens in need of change; manage in-room dining tray removal.
  • Update villa status and end-of-shift reports; maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.

Job Description

Responsible for providing service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards. Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to Housekeeping.

Hourly Rate: 29.37

  • Cleaning guest villas according to Fairmont standards including, but not limited to: dusting, neatly arranging guest belongings, turndown beds, removing soiled linen, retrieving clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming and amenity replenishment
  • Report any mattress protectors, blankets, bedspreads, and valances in need of change
  • Call In Room Dining for removal of trays/trolleys
  • Regularly update, record and/or report villa status: clean, do not require service, Privacy Please, etc.
  • Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
  • Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any malfunctioning equipment
  • Maintain atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guests
  • Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Schedule:

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including overnight, weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
  • Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
  • Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
  • Must have manual dexterity to be able to carry out essential functions, operate housekeeping devices and other cleaning equipment as needed
Your Working Environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to push and pull 100 lbs.
  • Constant standing, walking and reaching
  • Frequent lifting/carrying, pushing and pulling
  • Occasional crouching, bending, stooping, and kneeling
  • Requires grasping, writing, repetitive motions, listening, hearing and visual acuity
