Job summary

Bella Vida is seeking enthusiastic Housekeepers to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff at our senior care campus.

You will follow cleaning schedules, use proper chemicals and equipment, and support laundry and events as needed. We value teamwork, reliability, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Housekeeping experience (1 year) preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize with supervisor.
• Willingness to climb ladders and perform duties at heights.
• Knowledge of household tools and floor care.

Responsibilities

• Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and initiates improvements.
• Maintain a clean, disinfected, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents, families, employees, and visitors.
• Use proper chemicals, tools, and equipment to clean assigned areas.
• Assist with set-up and clean-up of events/activities.
• Dust, clean and sanitize resident rooms, and perform deep and daily cleaning tasks.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms.
• Inventory supply cart and restock daily.
• Maintain clean housekeeping closet at all times.
• Report repair needs to Supervisor.
• Work with other staff on major projects.
• Work in Laundry as needed.
• Make rooms ready for admissions.
• Assist Laundry Techs and Floor Techs as needed.
• Pull trash as needed.
• Assist other Departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Clean and sanitize public restrooms
• Inventory supply cart and restock on a daily basis
• Maintain clean housekeeping closet at all times

• Work in Laundry as needed
• Make rooms ready for admissions
• Assist Laundry Techs and Floor Techs as needed being able to work all three areas
• Pull trash as needed
• Assist other Departments as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Housekeeping experience, domestic or commercial, preferred (1 year)
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
• Good communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks and know when to ask supervisor for assistance
• Willingness to climb ladders and perform other duties that require heights
• Ability to adapt to changes in procedures, as improvements are made
• Knowledge of household tools, floor care and other related equipment
• Ability to perform Essential Duties
• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and persons with disabilities
• Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements
• Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities
