Presbyterian Village North is hiring Full Time Housekeeping Technicians in Dallas, TX. Shift is 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Sunday, with open availability and 40 hours per week. Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, 401K after year one, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred (1 year).
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Willingness to climb ladders and perform other duties.
• Knowledge of household tools and floor care.
• Ability to perform essential duties.
• Genuine caring for elderly and disabled.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Inventory and restock supply carts daily.
• Report repairs to Supervisor and work with other staff on projects.
• Work in Laundry as needed and assist when required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Model a service attitude towards others, take ownership in solving problems and take the initiative to make things better
• I s friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
• Maintain a clean, disinfected, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents, families, employees, and visitors of PC&S
• Use proper chemicals, tools, and equipment to clean assigned areas
• Assist with set-up and clean-up of events/activities
• Dust, clean and sanitize resident rooms, as i.e., deep cleaning and daily clean schedules)
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms
• Inventory supply cart and restock on a daily basis
• Maintain clean housekeeping closet at all times
• Report repair needs to Supervisor
• Work with other staff on major projects
• Work in Laundry as needed
• Make rooms ready for admissions
• Assist Laundry Techs and Floor Techs as needed being able to work all three areas
• Pull trash as needed
• Assist other Departments as needed
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Housekeeping experience, domestic or commercial, preferred (1 year)
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team player
• Good communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and prioritize tasks and know when to ask supervisor for assistance
• Willingness to climb ladders and perform other duties that require heights
• Ability to adapt to changes in procedures, as improvements are made
• Knowledge of household tools, floor care and other related equipment
• Ability to perform Essential Duties
• Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and persons with disabilities
• Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements
• Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities
