Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to serve as a full-time Housekeeping Technician across YMCA branches. The role focuses on cleaning and maintenance to ensure facilities’ appearance and safety, with potential after-hours work and lifting as needed.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of custodian experience, knowledge of custodial methods and equipment, and the ability to observe maintenance needs and report them promptly.

Qualifications

• At least one year of custodian/cleaning and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work.
• Ability to observe and report needs for maintenance and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain YMCA buildings and grounds at branch locations.
• Complete cleaning and maintenance assignments as required.
• May be asked to work after hours, weekends and holidays; some lifting required.

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking a dependable and self-motivated individual who can assist in ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of Y facilities as a full-time Housekeeping Technician serving various YMCA of Greater Richmond branches.

Duties

Responsibilities for this position include the cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds for the YMCA branch and property. This is a direct service position that requires completing cleaning and maintenance assignments. May be required at times to work after hours, weekends and holidays. Some lifting will be required.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least one year of experience with custodian work, cleaning and maintenance. Must have knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work as well as the ability to observe and report needs for maintenance and supplies. Dependability, attention to detail and relationship building skills are required.

Salary Range: $43,000 - $45,000 based on experience and qualifications.
