Job summary

Gold's Gym in San Antonio is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to keep the facility, including gym floor, locker rooms, offices and common spaces, clean, safe and welcoming for members.

You will perform cleaning duties, maintain equipment and supplies, and support the overall member experience by collaborating with gym staff and management.

Responsibilities

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors.
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Clean management offices daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
• Clean out lint and maintain general tidiness.
• Buff locker/lobby room floors.
• Clean, maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly.
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily.
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines.
• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed.
• Report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate professionally with gym staff and management.

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
