Job summary

Gold's Gym is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness across the facility, including gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common areas. You will perform a variety of cleaning duties and ensure spaces are safe and welcoming for members.

Responsibilities include cleaning equipment, mirrors, bathrooms, dusting, and replenishing supplies, while coordinating with staff to report issues and keep carts stocked.

Responsibilities

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed
• Empty trash receptacles daily
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily
• Clean management offices daily
• Mop and sweep lobby floors
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms
• Toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors
• Showers and floors
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper
• Clean out lint and maintain general tidiness
• Buff locker/lobby room floors as needed
• Clean Maintain and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines
• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed
• Report maintenance or repair issues accurately and promptly
• Collaborate professionally with gym staff and management

Job description

The Housekeeping Associate is an essential member of the Gold’s Gym team. They ensure that all areas of the facility—including gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common spaces—are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for members. The role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the overall member experience.
