Responsibilities

• Ensure all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Perform a variety of cleaning duties including maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Support overall member experience.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors as needed.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Clean management offices daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.
• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.
• Toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors
• Showers and floors
• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper.
• Clean out lint and maintain general tidiness.
• Buff locker/lobby room floors as needed.
• Clean, maintain, and organize cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuum cleaners.
• Ensure equipment is kept in good condition and stored properly.
• Clean vacuum cleaner bags or canisters daily.
• Stock carts with linens and supplies, keeping them organized according to training guidelines.

The Housekeeping Associate is an essential member of the Gold’s Gym team. They ensure that all areas of the facility—gym floor, locker rooms, offices, and common spaces—are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming for members. The role includes performing a variety of cleaning duties, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the overall member experience.

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean outside glass and interior mirrors.
• Wipe down equipment, doors, and floors as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Sweep and mop floors, stairwells, and staircases.
• Clean carpets and hard‑surface floors as needed.
• Clean fitness equipment thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including tiles, tubs, walls, sinks, and mirrors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures daily.
• Clean management offices daily.
• Mop and sweep lobby floors.

Locker Room Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, remove trash, and dust locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms & locker rooms.

Equipment & Supply Maintenance

Other Duties

• Pick up debris on carpets and perform vacuuming as needed.
