Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) in Orlando, FL is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader to help provide guests with memorable stays. You will supervise housekeeping tasks, inspect rooms after cleaning, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely turnover and high standards.

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Completes checklists to report the cleanliness and condition of each assigned area.
• Identifies room assignments and types of cleaning required for each room.
• Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the Housekeeper.
• Identifies the turns and reports to the Manager order to which rooms will be cleaned and ready.
• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enters status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets and assists all aspects, within the Housekeeping discipline, up to but not limited to cleaning rooms/villas, house aide duties, and public space cleaning.

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, a typical day will include:

To Become a Housekeeping Team Leader at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
