Job summary

Sugar Land Marriott is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to maintain guest rooms and public areas to brand quality standards in a fast-paced hotel setting. This in-office role supports daily operations and requires consistent attention to cleanliness and guest comfort.

You will assist the Executive Housekeeper, help train new Associates, plan daily activities, ensure supplies are stocked, and monitor logs to ensure timely follow-up and service excellence in Sugar Land, Texas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an office-style environment and follow standards.
• Clear communication, both verbal and written.
• Physical ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 25 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper with daily housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Support training of new Associates.
• Coordinate daily activities and staffing for efficient cleaning.
• Ensure inventory of supplies and cleaning materials is sufficient.
• Review logs and follow up on action items as needed.
