Cliff House Maine is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to supervise, train and inspect housekeeping staff during the 2:00pm – 10:30pm shift, ensuring all procedures meet established standards and guests receive optimum service.

This role requires flexibility, prior hospitality experience, knowledge of cleaning techniques, and strong communication. The supervisor will assign tasks, monitor performance, and support staff to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Flexibility with work days and hours.
• Previous hospitality experience required.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual candidates encouraged.
• Ability to lead a team and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in the performance of all daily procedures to ensure they are performed to standards.
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities.
• Inspect guest rooms, guest corridors, elevator foyer area, vending area, service area including linen closet, staff restroom and storage area.
• Inspect public areas/bathrooms, restaurants, spa, pool area, offices and service areas after being cleaned by respective personnel, using designated checklists.
• Assist staff with their job functions where needed to ensure optimum cleanliness and service standards for guests.

Housekeeping Supervisor Job Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise, train and inspect the performance of assigned Housekeeping staff during PM (2:00pm - 10:30pm with flexibility) shift ensuring that all procedures are completed to the established standards. Pay Range: $26 - $28 per hour

• Experience. Previous hospitality experience providing exceptional guest experience required.
• Knowledge. Proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling and usage of equipment.
