Job summary

Home2 Suites Anchorage is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the department in a fast-paced hotel environment. You will train and supervise the housekeeping staff, manage daily operations, and ensure guest rooms meet quality standards to deliver a home-like experience.

The role requires previous housekeeping experience, strong communication, and the ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds. Weekend and holiday availability is expected to support hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, property management or healthcare is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, move and lift up to 25 pounds for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the department each day, reporting room status to the front desk.
• Train, supervise, motivate and recognize the housekeeping staff.
• Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering, lost & found and scheduling.
• Inspect and/or clean multiple rooms each day.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
• Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
• Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
