Job summary

Crowne Plaza North Augusta is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coach the housekeeping team, ensuring rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and brand standards. You will manage daily assignments, supervise staff, and collaborate with other hotel departments to deliver guest-ready spaces.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, discipline, timely room readiness, and adherence to safety and quality standards to maintain a high guest experience consistent with the brand.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is required.
• Previous supervisory, lead, inspector, or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping procedures, guest room cleaning standards, sanitation practices, and quality inspection processes.
• Ability to inspect guest rooms carefully and identify cleanliness, maintenance, linen, and presentation deficiencies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide daily direction to Room Attendants, Housepersons, Laundry Attendants, Inspectors, and other Housekeeping associates as assigned.
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures for the Housekeeping Department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper or other department leadership.
• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments, keys, boards, and other required work materials.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate occupancy levels, VIP arrivals, special requests, operational priorities, safety information, and other relevant updates.
• Monitor associate productivity, attendance, performance, and adherence to established departmental procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching, training, feedback, and recognition to Housekeeping associates.
