Qualifications

• Working knowledge of housekeeping and hotel services, policies and operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience and skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Education/Formal Training: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience: One to two years in a related position with this company or other similar.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend down and get on and off floor numerous times per day.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe environment and quality service to achieve guest satisfaction while controlling expenses.
• Supervises housekeeping staff through training, coaching and feedback.
• Inspects cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house.
• Ensures compliance with health/sanitation standards and regulations.
• Issues assignments to staff and supplies at beginning of shift.
• Helps Executive Housekeeper control inventory and watch expenses.
• Responds to guest requests and coordinates with Front Desk and Engineering.
• Logs items into the Lost and Found to maintain controls and guest satisfaction.
• Implements emergency training and procedures.
• Assists evening staff with duties; maintains lobby and outdoor area.
• Monitors inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and minibar items.
