Job summary

COMMONWEALTH LODGING MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for Marriott Norfolk Waterside in Norfolk, VA. The role oversees housekeeping functions, supervises daily operations, and steps in for the Executive Housekeeper when absent.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or work equivalent.
• Computer skills required. Microsoft Office familiarity preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Room Attendant.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing entry level employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest room cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas.
• Resolve guest complaints and maintain positive guest relations.
• Train staff as assigned and supervise housekeeping operations.
• Coordinate breaks and assign staff using assignment sheets.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
