Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) in Jacksonville, FL seeks a working supervisor for the Housekeeping Department. You will supervise Housekeeping Attendants and Leads, ensure Navy Lodge standards, and oversee daily cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, lobby, and other areas.

The role requires supervising staff, training, scheduling, payroll checks, and budgeting. Work includes holidays and shift flexibility; experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No experience required for this role.
• High School diploma or equivalent with housekeeping experience including leader or supervisory duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Housekeeping Attendants and Leads to meet Navy Lodge standards.
• Oversees guest room and public spaces cleaning and quality checks.
• Hires and trains associates according to Navy Lodge standards.
• Schedules work, monitors productivity, and provides feedback.
• Manages payroll information for the department.
• Ensures safety and compliance with regulations and maintains inventory.
