Job summary

Valor is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor at The Summit Hotel in Cincinnati, OH. The role supervises all housekeeping activities to maintain the highest cleanliness standards while protecting assets and guest satisfaction.

You will train staff, inspect guest areas, and partner with maintenance and front desk to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Weekend and holiday hours are required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in Rooms Management or a related management role.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and resolve conflicts.
• Weekend/holiday/flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping promptly.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure materials are available.
• Collaborate with maintenance and front desk to prepare rooms for guests.
• Conduct regular audits and spot checks for quality control.
