TheRITInn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee day-to-day housekeeping operations for guest rooms, student rooms, and common areas. You will train staff, manage inspections, maintain supply levels, and ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction while upholding standards and policies.

Previous supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping is required, with a focus on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Hotel guestroom cleaning experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to all guests.
• Inspect guestrooms, student rooms, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and proper amenities; prepare work orders for deficiencies.
• Maintain proper stock levels and organize housekeeping closets.
• Monitor Vacant Ready rooms daily to ensure readiness for sale.
• Communicate room, supply, or staff issues to management and follow up as needed.
• Assist in ordering linens, towels, cleaning supplies, laundry chemicals, and guest amenities.
• Communicate cleaning deficiencies to housekeeping staff and ensure corrections.
• Assist in staffing, scheduling, and maintaining productivity and payroll targets.
• Serve as a primary trainer for new housekeeping associates and support ongoing staff development.
• Document associate issues, provide input for performance reviews, and assist with HR processes.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and department projects.
