Driftwood Hospitality Management in Asheville, NC is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons, ensuring cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public spaces.

You will train, coach, and develop the team, coordinate room assignments, and partner with Front Office and Maintenance to resolve issues, while controlling costs and maintaining safety standards.

• Supervisory experience in hotel or hospitality strongly preferred.

• Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to meet standards.
• Coordinate daily room assignments, cleaning priorities, and team productivity.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates with the Executive Housekeeper.
• Work with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and issues are resolved quickly.
• Monitor supplies, linens, and equipment to control costs and minimize waste.

JOB SUMMARYTo supervise, direct, assist, and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms, corridors and public spaces to maintain Driftwood’s high standards of cleanliness.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSThis description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.Lead, motivate, and support our housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation.Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure our standards are met or exceeded.Check all vacant/ready/stay over rooms daily.Check out of order rooms daily.Identify showrooms for Sales Department.Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys.Coordinate daily room assignments, cleaning priorities, and team productivity.Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates in collaboration with the Executive Housekeeper, creating a positive and accountable work environment.Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and issues are resolved quickly.Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment while helping control costs and minimize waste.Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.Jump in and support the team wherever needed.
