Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, seeks a seasoned housekeeping leader to oversee the hotel's guest areas, public spaces, and back-of-house cleanliness. You will develop cleaning procedures, supervise a team, and ensure safety and quality across all shifts.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience in hospitality, and the ability to manage schedules, complete reports, and collaborate with departments for events.

Position Overview

• Oversee and manage the housekeeping operations of the facility
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Train and supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met

Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping services for events or special occasions
• Maintain records and prepare reports on housekeeping activities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Skills

• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning and floor care
• Previous experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other departments
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards, knowledge of custodial equipment and supplies
