Job summary

Excel Hotel Group seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to assist the General Manager in supervising housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring product quality standards are met and optimum service is provided to hotel guests.

You will schedule room cleaning, train staff, inspect rooms and public areas, address guest concerns, and advise on deficiencies to maintain guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 housekeeping or janitorial experience required
• 1-year supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Schedules room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Trains employees and provides tools and equipment for duties.
• Monitors performance and recommends disciplinary actions when needed.
• Inspects rooms/suites and public areas for cleanliness and repairs.
• Instructs on deficiencies and correct corrective actions.
• Responds to guest complaints and special requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Notifies management when par levels for supplies/equipment are insufficient.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Schedules room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Trains employees and ensures they have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
• Monitors job performance and makes appropriate recommendations for disciplinary action when needed.
• Inspects all assigned rooms/suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
