Generation Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping staff, assign rooms, inspect cleanliness, and ensure public areas are well maintained.

This role requires hands-on cleaning duties when needed, staff training and scheduling, and clear communication with maintenance. Strong attention to detail and English proficiency are essential for coordinating with guests and team members. The position is based on-site in Provo, UT, with typical hotel operations hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently for job tasks.
• Education sufficient to read, write, and speak as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.
• Washes dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
• Removes linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets.
• Places and neatly tucks clean sheets and blankets on beds and replaces pillowcases.
• Stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Loads washers and dryers and folds sheets and towels in laundry room as needed.
• In commercial property, notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversee housekeepers, house persons, and lobby attendants. Responsible for opening the house procedures, assigning rooms, inspecting rooms, and public areas as well as scheduling.

• Uses cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
• Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.
• Washes dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces in rooms and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
