Job summary

Oak Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Parkville, MD, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, assign daily duties, and ensure a clean, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

You will train new employees, supervise waste removal to health and safety standards, manage supplies, and create cleaning schedules for common areas. Minimum 3 years in housekeeping with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor to provide leadership, direction, and support to the Housekeeping team members, in order to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and staff.

Compensation: commensurate for experience between $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

How you will make an impact

• Prepare daily assignments and schedules to include established routine duties for housekeeping staff
• Inspect premises to determine next assignments and to ensure that trash/garbage removal meets with health, safety and sanitation regulations including receiving dock areas and community grounds
• Train new employees, assigns tasks and closely supervises until fully trained.
• Maintain an inventory of housekeeping supplies, materials and equipment
• Create weekly, monthly and semi-monthly cleaning schedules for common areas of the facility
• Investigate and resolve housekeeping related complaints

What you will need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations
• Previous experience in a leadership role preferred
