Job summary

Capital Vacations, LLC is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for our Sugar Mountain/Highlands at Sugar properties in North Carolina. You will lead daily housekeeping operations to maintain safe, clean, and welcoming accommodations for Owners and guests.

You’ll direct staff, establish work schedules, train team members in laundry and housekeeping, inspect facilities, manage inventory, and collaborate with other departments to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a housekeeping supervisor.
• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Flexibility needed for scheduling purposes.
• High energy with a passion for housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs all housekeeping duties from cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, linen replacement to laundry, and inventory management of housewares.
• Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments.
• Trains and coaches employee in laundry and housekeeping.
• Checks equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
• Cooperates with the housekeeping staff and other departments to provide quality service to all Owners and guests.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
• Orders cleaning materials and maintains a budget.
• Responds quickly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.

• Practices safe working conditions under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the team
• Counsels and disciplines employees
