HHM Hotels in Morehead City, NC seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring brand and guest service standards are met while upholding sustainability practices.

You will train, schedule, coach staff, screen applicants, and manage supplies, with emphasis on guest satisfaction, safety, and teamwork in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; prior housekeeping experience or equivalent training required.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Ability to train, coach, and supervise associates per brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates to meet brand/hotel standards and HHM core values.
• Screen job applicants and hire new employees when needed.
• Train staff to clean rooms efficiently per established standards or with external vendors.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
• Occasionally clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.
• Address associate performance and behavior concerns through direct intervention or vendors.
• Supervise laundry employees, if applicable.
• Prepare work schedules for HHM associates or coordinate with vendors for occupancy.
• Follow EarthView sustainability guidelines and practices.
• Practice safe work habits, wear PPE and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Assist in the breakfast area as needed.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Your Focus

• Train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values.
• Screen job applicants, and hire new employees (in the event housekeeping associates are HHM employees.)
• Train staff to clean rooms in an efficient manner according to established standards or partner with external vendors to ensure staff is trained properly.
• Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction.

• On occasion, clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms.

• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.

Your Background and Skills
