Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks and inspect work for cleanliness standards.

• Plan and execute various departmental projects.
• Oversee and manage supervisors and staff.
• Schedule staff shifts and organize replacements.
• Investigate and address complaints.
• Provide training to housekeeping staff.
• Take inventory of cleaning supplies regularly.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Screen applicants and recommend promotions.
• Perform cleaning duties in staff shortages.

Housekeeping Supervisor Responsibilities

• Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
• Build moral and motivating team, creating, and maintaining a positive culture for the department.
• Ability to plan and execute various projects needed for the department.
• Overseeing and managing supervisors and staff.
• Scheduling staff and supervisor shifts and organizing replacements as required.
• Investigating and addressing complaints.
• Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
• Regularly (monthly & weekly) taking inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering stock as needed.
• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Screening housekeeping applicants and recommending promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
• Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.

Housekeeping Supervisor Requirements
