Job summary

Hemingford Care Center is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and support the maintenance leadership in staffing and performance. The role focuses on maintaining clean, safe facilities for residents and staff in a skilled nursing environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of commercial housekeeping experience, with supervisory exposure preferred, and strong organizational and communication abilities to collaborate with residents, families,

• Previous housekeeping supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
• Assist the Director of Maintenance with interviewing, hiring, coaching, and disciplining housekeeping staff as needed.
• Train, schedule, and support housekeeping team members to ensure high performance and quality standards.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout the facility and ensure housekeeping tasks are completed thoroughly and efficiently.
• Maintain housekeeping supply inventory and order products as needed.
• Promote compliance with infection prevention, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Participate in facility leadership meetings and provide updates on departmental operations.
