Avir at Montana is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to uphold high cleanliness and sanitary standards across the facility in compliance with health laws. You will coordinate daily cleaning schedules, supervise housekeeping staff, and work with Administrators to maintain a safe, home-like environment.
Responsibilities include inventory management, staff training, infection control procedures, and ensuring residents' rights are protected while maintaining quality standards across all areas.
The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitary conditions throughout the entire facility in compliance with the Department of Health Standards and other federal and state laws. This responsibility includes the coordination of regular, timely schedules for thorough cleaning of all areas, equipment, and furnishings. Training and monitoring
housekeeping and related staff in appropriate methods of cleaning. Maintaining adequate supplies and implementing a procedure for inventory and care of resident’s personal belongings. Will work closely with facility Administrators and staff to maintain a safe, home-like atmosphere.
Maintain Rights of Residents as set forth by the Texas Department of Health Laws and Regulations.
Maintains a clean, sanitary, and odor-free facility.
Coordinates and monitors:
1. Daily cleaning schedules for residents’ rooms and common areas with the facility
2. Regular cleaning schedules for all departmental areas, furnishings, and equipment.
3. Laundry schedules and procedures. Implementing appropriate infection control
methods.
Records and posts all appropriate scheduling for staff’s benefit.
Assesses cleanliness of facility.
Assesses housekeeping employees’ abilities to carry out designated tasks.
Instructs and educates housekeeping staff in cleaning and sanitizing procedures, correct use of supplies and equipment, correct use of safety precautions, keeping the residents’ and staffs’ safety as a top priority.
Maintains an inventory and adequate storage areas for residents’ personal belongings, cleaning supplies, linens, paper goods and general supplies.
Knowledgeable of and implements all safety, universal precautions, and Company policies/procedures for the protection of residents, co-workers, and self.
Other duties as assigned, with or without reasonable accommodations, to assist in maintaining
quality standards and maintaining the facility as a viable and successful entity.
