Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for administering and coordinating housekeeping functions in assigned sections.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect Room Attendant’s work performance within assigned section daily to ensure standards and productivity levels are met.
2. Inspect VIP rooms and report their availability to the Front Office.
3. Oversee the closing of floors, ensuring carts are clean and restocked.
4. Maintain records of daily assignments, ensure they are completed and submitted on time.
5. Maintain key control.
6. Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to standards.
7. Monitor cleanliness of carts, linen closets, control closets, stairways, and landings.
8. Oversee daily duties assignment for Room Attendants and House Attendants.
9. Carry an active pager/radio to stay in contact with the Front Office and Engineering.
10. Initiate work orders for repairs, follow up until completion.
11. Assist with staff training.
12. May clean rooms as needed.
13. Complete cleaning projects quarterly.
14. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
