**Job Description Summary:**
The Housekeeping Supervisor (HS) works with the Housekeeping Manager to assist in supervising the housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure product quality standards are met and that optimal service is provided to hotel guests. This includes inspecting rooms, training room attendants, and performing cleaning duties in all hotel areas. The supervisor is responsible for delivering clean rooms that meet brand standards.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**
- Deliver Sonesta Service standards in guest interactions and manage according to Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
- Assist in recruiting, developing, managing, and monitoring performance of staff.
- Inspect guest suites and public areas for cleanliness and repair, and provide training as needed.
- Assist with employee training and ensure tools and equipment are available.
- Assist with scheduling and room assignments.
- Perform cleaning duties to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels for linens and supplies, and monitor laundry equipment.
- Manage procedures for lost and found items.
- Promote teamwork and communication with other departments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years of housekeeping experience, including supervisory training.
- Preferred experience in extended stay industry.
- Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.
- Basic math and budgeting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular use of cleaning chemicals required.
