Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team in our Berkeley property. You will oversee room cleaning, public areas, supply management, and safety compliance while delivering outstanding guest service.

The role requires at least two years in a housekeeping leadership role and a high school diploma; strong communication and time management are essential. We offer daily pay, comprehensive benefits, 401k, and paid time off to support your growth.

Responsabilités

• Inspect assigned suites and public areas for cleanliness and repairs.
• Ensure associates have supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Train staff on safety standards and enforce them.
• Perform housekeeping duties including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Update room status and monitor cleanliness throughout shift.
• Open and close shifts as required.
• Notify management of maintenance needs and repairs.
• Monitor hotel cleanliness including exterior areas.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadership Housekeeping position
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Excellent time management skills
