Homewood Suites is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor / Laundry to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure our facility maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong team leader who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail and is comfortable working alongside staff to ensure high standards are consistently maintained. Schedule is flexible and pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality required.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Ability to train and supervise staff.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities.
• Assign rooms, areas, and cleaning duties to housekeeping staff.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping employees.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment.
• Address cleaning concerns and follow up to ensure issues are resolved.
• Maintain appropriate infection-control, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Assist with cleaning duties when needed, especially during busy periods.
• Maintain housekeeping schedules and ensure adequate staffing.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities
• Assign rooms, areas, and cleaning duties to housekeeping staff
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping employees
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and request supplies as needed
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products and equipment
• Address cleaning concerns and follow up to ensure issues are resolved
• Maintain appropriate infection-control, sanitation, and safety standards
• Assist with cleaning duties when needed, especially during busy periods
• Maintain housekeeping schedules and ensure adequate staffing

Laundry

• Oversee daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and other items
• Ensure linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry are properly sorted and processed
• Monitor laundry quality and ensure items are clean, properly dried, folded, and stored
• Maintain adequate supplies of clean linens throughout the facility
• Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment
• Monitor laundry supplies and submit requests for replenishment
• Follow proper procedures for handling soiled or contaminated laundry
• Identify damaged or worn items and coordinate replacement as needed
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or hospitality experience required
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable performing hands-on housekeeping and laundry duties
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management

Schedule & Compensation

• Position: Full-time
• Schedule: Flexible
• Pay: ($19-21)Depending on experience
