Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other spaces.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks: dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal.
• Restock supplies such as soap and paper products.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures per policies and regulations.
• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and spills.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to the appropriate department.

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Staff to join our skilled nursing facility team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will play an essential part in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Properly use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and spill cleanups.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, pleasant, and comfortable environment for residents and visitors.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged equipment to the appropriate department.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, healthcare, or long-term care experience.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, or assisted living environment.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and sanitation practices.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
