You will clean resident rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces, follow infection-control protocols, and report maintenance needs to ensure a hygienic environment for all residents and staff.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• Basic communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dispose of waste and soiled materials safely and in accordance with facility policies and environmental regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
• Follow infection control procedures rigorously to minimize health risks to residents and staff.
• Assist in setting up rooms for new residents or special events as needed, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.

This position ensures that all assigned areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to established protocols. Schedule: 7.5 hours - 5 days a week
Pay: $18.50/hr
