Job summary

LifeStream is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist in Leesburg, FL to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform daily cleaning, follow safety protocols, and support during events or emergencies while delivering courteous service to all.

Essential duties include sanitizing patient rooms and common areas, restrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Healthcare or behavioral center experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Follow established protocols for safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring tools are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to report and address repairs or safety hazards promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Provide support during events or emergencies, maintaining cleanliness and order.
• Engage with clients, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance housekeeping and safety practices.
