Job summary

The George in College Station, TX is seeking a Houseperson/Runner to support the housekeeping team by delivering linens, supplies, and amenities, responding to guest requests, and helping maintain back-of-house areas to hotel standards. This full-time role reports to the Executive Housekeeper and requires courteous service and reliability.

Prior hotel operations or customer service experience is preferred, and the position demands teamwork, multitasking, and safe handling of housekeeping

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
• Display courteous behavior with guests and team members.
• Report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow company dress code.
• Complete all company training materials by the deadline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to housekeeping closets and work areas.
• Respond promptly to requests from Room Attendants, Supervisors, and management for supplies, equipment, and guest items.
• Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recycling from guest floors to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels in housekeeping closets, storage rooms, and linen areas.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of rollaway beds, cribs, and other guest-requested items.
• Deliver guest amenities and fulfill special guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist with special cleaning needs as assigned
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all equipment is maintained in proper working condition
• Keep storage closets, housekeeping carts, and work areas clean, organized and properly stocked
