Job summary

Texas Hotel Management is seeking a Hotel Houseperson to support the housekeeping team in guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. You will assist with cleaning, linen distribution, trash removal, and restocking supplies to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Requirements include physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Prior hotel experience is preferred but not required, and legal work authorization in the United

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or housekeeping experience is preferred but may not be required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linens, towels, and housekeeping supplies to guest rooms.
• Collect and transport dirty linens, towels, and trash.
• Assist Housekeepers with cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, corridors, stairways, and other common areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts, supply rooms, and linen closets.
• Move furniture, mattresses, rollaway beds, and other hotel equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and special housekeeping assignments.
• Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and guest-service standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
